The 308 is designed to give you a prominent clock in your living space plus give you the added benefits of open shelved storage as well as closed cabinet storage.  The clock itself is a shaker inspired metal parchment-look dial with easy to read arabic numerals.  Two types of movements are offered.  One is what's referred to a bim-bam quartz movement.  This movement has two brass rods, each of which are struck to count each hour.  The result is a rich sounding, yet simple chime that reminds you of the time even if you're in another room.  If you'd rather not have a chiming clock, we also offer a non-chiming quartz movement.  Below the clock face is a 3 section open bookshelf where you can store books, magazines, decor, or anything else you might imagine.  (Our kids like to use it to hide food!)  The lower section of the clock features a closed cabinet with bead-board panel door.  The back of the cabinet is also bead-board.  The door features an antique brass knob and magnetic catch.    This clock can be shipped in 3 pieces - the head assembly, the open bookshelf, and the lower cabinet.  The clock assembles easily and we send you everything you need.  (Only 4 bolts and an allen wrench!)  The 308 features a 6 step finish process that produces an aged, well-worn appearance.  See our finishes page for more details.
